We are looking for a meticulous Purchaser to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will manage procurement activities to ensure timely acquisition of materials and parts, maintain strong vendor relationships, and oversee inventory tracking and issue resolution. Responsibilities:

• Source and secure materials and parts required for operations, ensuring timely delivery.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to achieve favorable terms.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment efforts to prevent shortages.

• Address and resolve issues related to receiving parts and discrepancies in shipments.

• Track product orders to ensure accuracy and follow-through from initiation to delivery.

• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs based on operational requirements.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to optimize cost-effectiveness.

• Maintain detailed records of purchasing activities, contracts, and vendor performance.

• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to support strategic procurement decisions.• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles.

• Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships.

• Proficiency in tracking and resolving issues with shipments and receiving.
