Construction Superintendent (Growing Company)
We’re a growing construction company looking for a hands-on Superintendent to run day-to-day field operations, keep projects on schedule, and maintain a high standard of quality and safety. This role is ideal for someone who can manage subs confidently, communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, and solve problems fast in the field.
What You’ll Do
Manage daily onsite operations across active projects
Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and jobsite logistics
Enforce quality standards and ensure work is built to plan/spec
Maintain project schedules (look-ahead planning) and drive milestones
Identify issues early and propose solutions (RFIs, field changes, sequencing)
Conduct site walks, punchlists, and closeouts
Maintain clean, organized, professional jobsites
Track daily progress (photos, notes, manpower, production updates)
Uphold safety requirements and lead toolbox talks as needed
Communicate proactively with project management, ownership, and clients
What We’re Looking For
5+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent (or similar field leadership role)
Strong ability to manage multiple subs and keep work moving
Solid understanding of plans/specs, sequencing, and building practices
Comfortable using phone/tablet for photos, emails, and basic reporting
Reliable, accountable, and calm under pressure
Strong communication skills (clients, subs, inspectors, internal team)
Bonus Points
Residential + light commercial experience
Experience in occupied homes / client-facing renovations
Knowledge of local inspections and permitting processes (Westchester/NYC)
OSHA 30 (or willing to obtain quickly)
