ServiceNow Engineer

Duration: 12+ Months (contract to hire)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer with proven expertise in QA automation and hands-on development. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end testing, automation frameworks, and upgrade strategies, while also contributing to configuration, scripting, and integrations across the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Portal, and enterprise integrations). The ideal candidate will bring a balanced background in QA, automation, and development with strong skills in ATF, Selenium, API testing, and JavaScript, bridging quality assurance and engineering delivery to ensure high-performing, scalable ServiceNow solutions. Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements and ServiceNow specifications to design scalable test cases, data, and scenarios.

Plan, execute, and document manual and automated testing across ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations.

Lead functional, regression, integration, upgrade, and API testing for ITSM, Service Catalog, CSDM, and ITOM. Experience:

8+ years in software testing/development, with 4+ years on ServiceNow platform.

Expertise in one of the tools - ATF, Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI.

Hands-on proficiency in ServiceNow development and scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Catalog Scripts, Integration Hub).

Experience across ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, CSDM, Discovery, Event Management Skillsets:

Skilled in test management/defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Certifications:

Preferred : ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM, Discovery, Event Mgmt.), ITIL v3/v4.
