General Labor/Operator

Job Details

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Wage: $17/hr

Hours:

2nd: 2 pm-10:30 pm Mon-Fri

3rd: 10 pm-6:30 am Sun-Thur

Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, and operate equipment to achieve desired results. Responsible for safe mechanical and chemical processing practices and proper handling techniques. Back-up coverage for shipping function. Monitor inventory and notify purchasing when materials and supplies are needed. Required competencies include adaptability, teamwork and quality.

Operate various production equipment

Follow procedures accurately and efficiently

Inspect product visually

Use tools to perform specialized tasks

Read gauges and charts and record data

Perform preventive maintenance tasks

Wrap, package and ship product via common carrier

Identify scrap and its causes

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Requirements:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Basic computer skills
