Job Title: Project CoordinatorJob Description We are seeking a passionate and organized Project Coordinator to join our team.
You will play a vital role in coordinating project team activities and supporting Project Managers with logistics.
This position offers the opportunity to mentor and train less experienced project coordinators, contributing to their professional growth.
Responsibilities + Prepare cost re-projections and budget variance explanations for project spending.
+ Prepare contract requisitions and participate in the bidding process.
+ Coordinate the work order process related to a project from creation to closing.
+ Coordinate project meetings, including strategy, planning, kick-off, and status meetings.
+ Communicate with TCRs, engineers, and designers on behalf of Project Managers.
+ Support Project Managers in preparing and updating project documentation such as PLMP documents, Communication Plans, Checklists, PRB requests, Safety Plans, and Project Completion Punchlists.
+ Coordinate project logistics, including arrangements for temporary office/job site facilities, electricity, permits, and laydown yards.
+ Prepare re-projections of project spending, monitor budget variances, and conduct cost tracking and analysis.
+ Provide analysis and verification for SOX activities.
+ Track, analyze, and submit information for un-vouchered liabilities and develop invoice data for billable work orders.
+ Create contract requisitions and assist in preparing Requests for Proposal and/or Scope of Work.
+ Assist in bid evaluations and analysis of bid results, and communicate with Supply Chain and contractors.
+ Complete work order analysis reports and manage journal entry reclassifications and Major Plant in Service reports.
Essential Skills + Proficiency in telecommunications, project coordination, and construction.
+ Strong skills in project budgets and excel database management.
+ Experience with Excel pivot tables.
+ Three years of experience in project budgets, projections, and cost tracking.
+ Three years of experience with accounting principles, including debits and credits.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office projects.
+ Experience with financial costing software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Business.
Work Environment The work environment is a quiet engineering office where teamwork is highly encouraged.
Engineers share office space, creating a collaborative setting.
The dress code is business casual, and the office atmosphere is laid-back.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
