We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Financial Associate/Administrative Professional - 20057769 within the Division of Engineering, headquartered at Fountain Square main campus in Franklin County. What you will do...

Prepares, compiles, processes & verifies statistical, financial, accounting or auditing data, reports & tables related to accounts payable and accounts receivable

Verifies accuracy of data and revises any errors and matches purchasing documents prior to creating purchase orders or processing invoices

Records and analyzes information using spreadsheets, databases, &/or accounting software

Verifies supplier transactions are coded appropriately to capture data for State initiatives and programs

Works with Project Managers to perform tasks for preparation and advertising of bidding packages for construction projects and then provides support for bid processes

Supports supervisor as needed and performs other related clerical or accounting duties

Starting hourly pay of $22.96/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $27.92/hr.

There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates OCSEA Employees Department of Administrative Services.

18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software.

OR completion of high school technical program in accounting AND 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting or finance to include a basic level of experience in spreadsheet software.

OR completion of associate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.

OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
