Forklift Driver / Material Handler

Hours for this shift:

Monday- Friday 1:00P-11:30PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to able to use a forklift and perform daily checks.

Take material from dock area making sure all paperwork matches.

Move finished goods from production floor in a timely manner.

Issue supplies to the production area as needed.

Assist in scrap removal.

Operate scanner and assist in inventory counts.

Maintain the cleanliness in the facility and follow Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.

Compliance to all company policies, regulations and procedures is required

Perform other duties as directed by pressman, supervisor or management

Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.

Requirements:

High School graduate

Good mechanical ability

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong reading, writing and math abilities

Computer skills for inventory control

Ability to work second shift and overtime

Previous forklift and material handling experience

Team Player

Physically demanding position: long periods standing, bending, squatting, reaching and pulling. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
