Anatomical Pathologist or Surgical Pathologist - Greater Orlando, FL

Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and timely diagnosis of the presence and stage of disease from a tissue specimen, utilizing appropriate laboratory procedures. Confers with other physicians as needed;
Takes the initiative to improve quality in the workplace;
Provide intra-operative consultations;
Provides advice to referring physicians regarding the clinical significance of laboratory findings.
Requirements:
Pathologist with at least 3 years of post-residency Hospital experience
Trained in Breast Pathology is preferred
Trained in Genitourinary Pathology is preferred
Experience in signing out complex cases
Experience in signing a high volume of GI cases
Ability to communicate with colleges and leadership
Required: Board Certified in Anatomical Pathology, Surgical Pathology or cytopathology
Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Florida.
Ability to work independently.
Experience working with high volume.
Experience with prognostic markers
