Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Set up and operate CNC laser machines to cut, etch, and pierce metal materials

Plan and lay out cutting sequences using blueprints and production drawings

Select and install correct lenses and adjust machine settings for various material types and thicknesses

Align, fit, and rework parts that do not pass inspection

Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools

Perform routine maintenance and report machine malfunctions

Load and position sheet metal blanks, requesting assistance for heavy materials

Maintain clean and safe work area in accordance with company protocols

You should have most of the following:

High School Diploma or GED

Prior experience operating CNC laser or similar metal-cutting machinery

Minimum 1–2+ years of metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing experience

Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

Strong familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools

Ability to plan and sequence cutting operations independently

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Strong attention to detail and quality standards
