The Division of Administration provides overall leadership and administrative support for all Divisions. The Division includes the Office of Director, Communications, Fiscal, Human Resources, IT, Legal and Legislative Affairs.
The Division of Administration, Fiscal section is seeking candidates to fill a Budget Analyst position. The Budget Analyst will perform the following duties, which include but are not limited to:
Prepares, maintains, & analyzes various financial reports
Maintains & reviews chart of accounts to enter data in systems (e.g. Ohio Buys, Pcard Reconciliation Portal, Excel)
Performs drawdown through the Automated Standard Application for Payments (ASAP) system
Independently researches & analyzes complex information to resolve errors or problems
Performs fiscal monitoring of approve grants; completes and maintains data
Performs various fiscal related and non-fiscal tasks
3 yrs. experience in budgeting that included fiscal analysis, management & control (e.g., probability; linear regression; multiple variable regression; computer assisted regression analysis models; trend analysis; forecasting cost benefit analysis).
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting that included fiscal analysis, management & control (e.g., probability; linear regression; multiple variable regression; computer assisted regression analysis models; trend analysis; forecasting cost benefit analysis).
-Or Completion of graduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration which included coursework in quantitative/statistical analysis (e.g., probability; linear regression; multiple variable regression; computer assisted regression analysis models; trend analysis; forecasting cost benefit analysis).
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
