Contractors Choice, driver will provide unparalleled service as they help Contractors Choice serve its customers. Driver handles all deliveries made to customers.Duties include•Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.•Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.•Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.•Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.•Verify the contents of inventory loads against customer contracts.•Checking serial numbers being delivered on contracts•Noting any paperwork changes of items being refused or added•Making sure pick up and drop offs are done in a professional manner•Returning all paperwork by end of dayJob Requirements•High school diploma or equivalent•Minimum of 1 year of experience •Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills•Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills•Ability to work independently and as part of a team•Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed•Commitment to safety in the workplace•Pass DOT physical •Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
