Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Android Developer to design and build high-quality, scalable, and user-centric mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, along with strong experience in modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVI.

You will play a key role in both developing new enterprise-grade applications and enhancing existing mobile platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams including iOS developers, backend engineers, QA, and product managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Implement scalable architecture using MVVM or MVI and clean architecture principles

• Build secure and efficient authentication flows, including biometric authentication

• Write high-quality unit tests (JUnit, MockK) and UI tests (Espresso)

• Integrate RESTful APIs using tools like Retrofit and OkHttp

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Android, iOS, backend, QA, product)

• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards

• Monitor and optimize app performance (memory, ANRs, crashes, responsiveness)

• Implement offline-first capabilities using Room and synchronization strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience

• Strong expertise in Kotlin (Coroutines, Flow, Sealed Classes, Extensions)

• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development

• Experience with MVVM and/or MVI architecture patterns

• Deep understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio

• Experience implementing authentication & security (OAuth, biometrics, encryption)

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend integration

• Experience with JUnit, MockK, Espresso for testing

• Familiarity with Firebase (FCM, Crashlytics, Analytics)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hilt (Dependency Injection)

• Familiarity with Room, DataStore, WorkManager

• Knowledge of Android performance optimization tools

• Experience with OpenAPI / Postman

• Exposure to Android widgets or Glance

• Understanding of Android privacy & security standards
