Description:

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and functional environment for employees and visitors. Routine cleaning, basic building maintenance and reports safety and repair needs to ensure facilities are well maintained and compliant with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, breaks rooms, office, hallways and common areas.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, wax and polish floors.

Empty trash and recycling containers.

Refill supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.

Follow proper procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Perform basic maintenance and repairs (e.g., light plumbing, changing filters, replacing bulbs, tightening fixtures).

Conduct routine inspections of building, grounds and office equipment.

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Maintain outdoor areas, including landscaping or debris removal.

Follow all safety, health and environmental regulations

Use personal protective equipment as required.

Maintain cleanliness standards to reduce health risks.

Secure buildings by locking doors and windows as needed.

Education and Experience:

5+ years’ experience facilitates maintenance.

ability to follow written and verbal instructions

knowledge of basic cleaning supplies and equipment.

Time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and part of a team.

Physical ability to lift, bend, stand and walk for extended periods
