Logistic Coordinator Remote WFH

Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, vendor and carrier relationships, and inventory movement to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery across the supply chain. This remote role requires strong communication, process orientation, and comfort with logistics software.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipment activities: schedule pickups, monitor transit, update stakeholders, and resolve exceptions.

Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers; obtain quotes and negotiate rates.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with purchasing and warehouse teams.

Create and maintain shipping documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, customs forms) and ensure regulatory/compliance requirements are met.

Track KPIs (OTD, transit time, freight cost per unit, claims rate) and produce weekly/monthly logistics reports.

Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, or claims; liaise with insurance and legal when needed.

Optimize routes, consolidate shipments, and recommend cost/speed improvements.

Maintain and update logistics systems (TMS/WMS/ERP); ensure accurate data entry and carrier performance records.

Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory reconciliation.

Coordinate cross-functional communication with sales, customer service, procurement, and production to align demand and supply.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and document standard operating procedures.
