Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits, systems management, compliance, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about HR processes and contribute to a positive workplace culture. This role is required to be on-site in our San Diego lab.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the recruiting administration, including handling on site interview support for candidates and employees

Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, and updating employee records

Maintain and organize electronic HR documents, employee files, and databases

Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and company events

Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

Assist with HRIS data maintenance

Assist with office maintenance and administration

Perform other administrative and HR-related tasks as assigned Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with HR software is a plus

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn
