Software Engineering - DataStage Developer

Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company seeks a Software Engineering - DataStage Developer for its Syracuse, NY location.

Duties: * Design, build, implement, and support ETL solutions.

* Responsible for DataStage development and implementation, supporting Agile project teams to build complex integration solutions between applications and systems.

* Perform analysis and work with business clients to identify core business issues to map out solutions.

* Work with Architects and other applications development and DBA team to refine solutions and outcomes.

* Ensure integration solutions are compliant with security, audit, and performance requirements.

* Work with testing teams to ensure issues are well tested and resolved.

* Support code deployments via GIT-Hub migration for non-prod and prod.

* Identify and implement innovative optimization opportunities.

* Assist in shaping strategic direction with respect to DataStage.

* Remain informed of IBM and Azure integration related trends and contribution to the direction of the integration strategic roadmap.

Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Elec.

Engineering or related technical field plus at least 5 years of progressive post-Baccalaureate experience as Software Engineer, Developer or related occupation involving ETL application development and data integration using IBM lnfosphere DataStage and other ETL technologies.

Experience must include: ETL Tools and Software's: IBM lnfosphere DataStage Designer, IBM infosphere Datastage Director, IBM lnfosphere Administrator, Cloud Pak for Data, Axway Products, Eclipse IDE, Azure DevOps (GIT), SharePoint, WinSCP, Putty, Microsoft Visio, MS office, Excel, PowerPoint, XMLSPY, ServiceNow, AXWAY Secure SFTP, Salesforce CRM, CA7 Scheduler & Stonebranch, Query Analyzer, IBM personal communications; Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2, Netezza, Mango DB; Operating Systems: UNIX & Windows; Programming Languages: COBOL, JCL, SQL, SFTP, UNIX, PYTHON, JAVA; DB Tools: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Toad, Robo 3T, MongoDB Atlas, PLSQL developer, Microsoft SQL Developer, Salesforce Data loader, Mongo Compass, and Netezza workbench.

40 hours/week.

Salary is $112,944 - $129,000.

Hybrid work schedule: 2d-in office/3d-remote.
