Architect

This person will oversee a project's technical design efforts, detailed design development, project coordination, and quality control throughout all project phases.

This role requires close collaboration with the design team, attention to detail, a foundational knowledge of building codes, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Proficiency in BIM is essential, and professional licensure is encouraged.

Responsibilities + Lead the technical design and documentation of projects from schematic design through construction documents.

+ Translate design intent into clear, coordinated, and accurate construction drawings.

+ Develop detailed wall sections, assemblies, and architectural details aligned with project standards and constructability.

+ Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and quality control throughout all project phases.

+ Coordinate architectural work with consultants including structural, MEP, civil, and specialty disciplines.

+ Perform drawing reviews and participate in internal QA/QC processes.

+ Assist in identifying and resolving conflicts prior to construction.

+ Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and zoning regulations.

+ Work closely with designers, project managers, and interior design team members in a collaborative studio environment.

+ Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings and internal design reviews.

+ Support construction administration activities including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits.

+ Assist in addressing field conditions and maintaining design intent throughout construction.

Essential Skills + Proficiency in Architecture, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). + Strong project management capabilities.

+ Working knowledge of building codes and construction methods.

+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

+ Professional licensure is preferred but not required.

+ 5+ years of professional experience in higher education, recreational, corporate, hospitality, retail, health/wellness, religious, or related projects.
