Job Description
Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision, operate and maintain the Hydromat and its cell to produce precision parts based on current prints and quality check sheets.
Essential Functions:
Machine Set-up & Operation: Prepare tooling on pre-setter, change tooling according to tool life, load bar stock, keep up with chip load internally and in the chip hopper.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, and schematics to understand part specifications.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, dimensions, and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubricating) and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all company safety standards.
Documentation: Record production data, hourly part checks, and creating job tags.
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge:Familiarity with CNC machinery, G-code programming, and tooling.
Math & Inspection Skills:Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading.
Experience:1–2 years of experience in a CNC manufacturing environment preferred.
Education:Vocational training or certifications in CNC machining are a plus.
Abilities:Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
