About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Purple Hearts Health Care Services in Americus, GA, as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is a temporary position, working with children in the Montezuma/Oglethorpe, GA area.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical histories.

Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

Current and valid LPN license in the state of Georgia.

Previous experience in a healthcare / school setting preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Current drivers license.

Dependable transporation.

Willingness to take and pass criminal background check and fingerprinting.
