This role drives the design and execution of scalable data and analytics solutions that deliver high-confidence, decision-grade insights across a complex, multi-source environment.

The Technical Team Lead serves as the primary technical authority, combining hands-on engineering with delivery leadership. This individual sets technical direction, leads Agile execution, and drives high-quality outcomes across data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, and platform operations.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions using Databricks and AWS

Own and evolve data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, curation, and delivery for large-scale datasets

Lead implementation of entity resolution and data linking capabilities, including technologies such as Senzing or similar platforms

Establish and enforce standards for data quality, integrity, lineage, and traceability across integrated data sources

Serve as the primary technical point of contact, translating business and mission needs into delivery plans, architecture decisions, and actionable engineering tasks

Provide hands-on technical leadership through coding, design reviews, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex platform issues

Lead and mentor engineers, setting standards for engineering quality, data modeling, platform design, and technical execution

Manage Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, and progress tracking

Drive platform performance, scalability, resiliency, and operational stability across data pipelines and analytics workloads

Oversee AWS cloud architecture, including compute, storage, networking, and platform services that support the analytics environment

Implement and mature DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release discipline, and secure deployment

Coordinate across stakeholders, product owners, and mission partners to align platform capabilities with evolving operational requirements

Enforce security controls, compliance requirements, and vulnerability remediation activities across the platform lifecycle

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technical leadership, solution delivery, or engineering management roles

Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, including data engineering, analytics workflows, and platform delivery

Proven experience designing, building, and operating enterprise data platforms in AWS

Demonstrated expertise in large-scale data processing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling

Experience implementing entity resolution, record linkage, or multi-source data integration solutions

Experience leading Agile execution, including backlog management, sprint execution, and delivery oversight

Strong understanding of data architecture, distributed processing, and performance optimization

Experience implementing CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines for data and platform engineering

Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable technical plans and drive execution across teams

Experience working in fast-paced, mission-driven, multi-stakeholder environments

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Senzing or comparable entity resolution platforms

Experience with data governance, lineage, and cataloging frameworks, such as Unity Catalog or equivalent

Experience with both batch and streaming data architectures

Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Kubernetes

Experience with infrastructure as code and automated environment provisioning

Experience with platform monitoring, observability, and performance tuning for data-intensive systems

Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools

Databricks Certified Machine Learning Associate

AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Clearance Requirement

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. suitability
