Summary:
Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
Responsible for the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
Responsibilities:
Assemble medical devices and related components.
Operate various equipment and machinery according to documented procedures.
Perform electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging.
Clean tools and equipment per documented procedures.
Dispose of hazardous waste material in designated areas.
Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment.
Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
Ensure accurate packaging and documentation of devices.
Maintain accurate records for traceability and quality assurance.
Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Notify supervisor or lead of supply/material needs and production difficulties.
Cooperate in maintaining a clean, sanitary work environment.
Perform other related duties as directed or assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures at a 6th grade level.
Basic math skills at a 6th grade level.
Effective verbal communication skills in English.
Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
Good dexterity for handling and maneuvering small components and parts.
Ability to prioritize work based on precedence and importance.
Capability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
High school diploma required.
2 years of experience.
