Job Title: Technical Support Technician / Operations

Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months)

Location: Sterling, VA - 20166 (Onsite - 4 Days/Week)

Shift: Night Shift - 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM

Schedule Options: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday

Pay: $20-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and in-person requests

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Document, track, and monitor incidents to ensure timely resolution

Support data center operations, including validation of network links and connections

Execute workflows to ensure systems and infrastructure are functioning correctly

Collaborate closely with networking and infrastructure teams

Assist in new data center build activities and rack handoff processes

Follow established procedures and guidelines under supervision

Required Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in technical support, IT support, or related field

Experience with break-fix, driver repairs, and basic troubleshooting

Familiarity with computer hardware and components

Basic networking knowledge, including:

DHCP and Static IP configurations

Fiber types (Single-mode / Multi-mode)

Server connectivity checks

At least 1 year of experience working in a data center environment

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+ Certification

CompTIA Network+ Certification

CompTIA Server+ Certification
