Job Title: Upholsterer Insider / Manufacturing

Department: Upholstery

Location: Plant 5

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Hourly Pay

Schedule: M - Th 6:00 am - 4:30 PM & Occasional Fridays 6 am - 10 am

Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis.

Overview of Responsibilities

Upholstery Insiders make, repair, or replace upholstery for high end household furniture.

Fit, install, and secure material leather or fabric on wooden frames.

Using manual and powered tools to secure components into place.

Align parts and material to ensure proper assembly.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of furniture Upholsterer Insider experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.

LEAN Manufacturing experience a plus

Basic computer knowledge

Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship.

Ability to work full-time.

Must be flexible to work overtime when required.

Able to stand for 10 hours.

Able to use hand tools/air tools/staple gun for 10 hours.

Regularly lift and/or move objects 50lbs.
