The Division of Cannabis Control oversees the state of Ohio’s Medical Marijuana Control Program Patient & Caregiver Registry and the non-medical cannabis program. This includes licensing and regulating marijuana cultivators, processors, dispensaries, and testing laboratories that serve both the medical and non-medical programs.
What You'll Do:
The Division is seeking candidates to fill a Program Administrator 3 position to review and audit ownership and financial data. The Ownership & Financial Data Administrator will be an integral part of the Cannabis Control team and duties will include:
Reviewing change of ownership and similar requests.
Auditing ownership and financial records of licensed cannabis entities.
Establishing processes for documenting and tracking ownership and control of licensed cannabis entities.
Investigating complaints related to ownership and financial matters and document findings.
Making policy recommendations to Division leadership and crafting technical guidance for license holders.
5 yrs. trg. or 5 yrs. exp. in business administration, management or public administration.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management or public administration; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program for academic field of study commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on File; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative, managerial &/or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
-Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 2, 63123.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
