Job Title: Registered Nurse

Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.

The role involves providing care to patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses.

Candidates must have experience with continuous cardiac monitoring.

The patient population includes those receiving diagnostic services and symptom management related to cancer treatments.

Management of comorbidities is a critical aspect of this position.

A heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls is essential.

Additional responsibilities include administering medications, managing intravenous lines, and assisting with procedures.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, including interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of central lines.

Individuals must be flexible and able to float to other Med-Surg units as needed.

Effective communication and teamwork skills are required as part of the interdisciplinary support services in the unit.

All candidates must meet experience requirements within the last three years.

The unit has a daily census of approximately 36 patients.

Candidates must be proactive in completing credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting.
