Position Overview
FGA is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience supporting attorneys in a litigation environment. In this role, the Litigation Paralegal will play an integral part in the case management process by drafting reports to clients, reviewing and summarizing case files and discovery materials, assisting with the preparation of discovery responses, preparing legal documents, organizing and maintaining case files, and communicating with third parties, as needed, to follow up on subpoenas and information requests.

Key Responsibilities
Draft clear and timely reports to clients summarizing case developments and legal issues
Review and summarize case files, medical records, and discovery materials
Analyze discovery demands and assist in preparing responses and supporting documentation
Draft legal documents, including subpoenas and other litigation-related filings
Organize and maintain case files, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
Communicate with opposing counsel and third parties, as needed
Track deadlines and assist attorneys with managing case calendars and litigation milestones
Assist with preparation of hearing and trial materials, as necessary
Maintain accurate time records and contribute to case budgeting and billing, as appropriate
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is a plus
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a litigation or legal support role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience reviewing, organizing, and summarizing case materials and discovery
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw)
Experience working with document management and case management systems preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
The salary for this position is $70,000 per year. In addition to base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible for discretionary annual bonuses and salary increases.
