Day Shift Position and Evening Shift Available/ Full Time

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

The purpose of this position is to maintain Jasper General Hospital in a clean, sanitary and infection-free condition through cleaning of building, fixtures, furnishings, as well as laundry/linen.

Cleanfloors throughout the facility maintaining proper equipment and cleaning toolsand coordinating mopping schedule to avoid high traffic times.

Cleanand disinfect bathrooms including fixtures, floors, walls, mirrors and replenishingsupplies

Cleanwalls, windows, mirrors, floors, doors and furniture throughout the manor.

Cleanair conditioner vents and filters. Record & notify maintenance of problemswith HVAC units or building problems.

Cleancourtyard and porches

Remove& discard waste & follow safety disposal for biohazard materials.

Correctand notify nurse or director of unsafe conditions in resident rooms

Maintainstorage area for cleaning supplies, help to maintain SDS records, inventory andorder supplies.

Maintain compliance with all company policiesand procedures

Transport soiled linens to Laundry room

Sort linens, operate washer/dryer, fold and return linens

Pull worn linens to be discarded and/or replaced

Label resident clothing when necessary
