Our client, a leader in gas & electric utilities, is hiring an Operations Coordinator to join their team in Columbus, OH!
**This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits**
As the Operations Coordinator, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Gas Operations Integration Center, ensuring efficient coordination of permits, work orders, and field operations while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate application, receipt, distribution, and execution of permits
Support the One Call (811) process and site readiness activities
Create, update, and manage work orders in WMS/DIS systems
Prepare correspondence and maintain accurate documentation
Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and communication
Manage email communications through Lotus Notes
Support office administration and team collaboration efforts
Desired Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience working in a team-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience with WMS, DIS, or Lotus Notes (preferred)
Basic understanding of the utility or energy industry (preferred)
