About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong leadership presence who can drive delivery outcomes, influence across teams without direct authority, and proactively identify and escalate risks and impediments.

This role requires comfort operating in ambiguous environments, applying sound judgment, and engaging the appropriate stakeholders at the right time to meet delivery commitments while reducing enterprise risk. The Scrum Master acts as a trusted partner to product, technology, and leadership teams to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to enterprise Agile and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Facilitate Scrum and Agile delivery for moderately complex initiatives, including projects, non-project work, and production or maintenance efforts.

Drive the resolution of team impediments, cross-team dependencies, and delivery risks through clear, fact-based communication and influence.

Identify, assess, and escalate risks early within sprint and planning horizons to protect scope, schedule, quality, and compliance.

Escalate issues with intent by providing context, options, and recommendations-not just awareness.

Guide Scrum teams in applying Agile and Scrum practices, promoting prioritization, readiness, and sprint commitment.

Optimize team velocity and flow by improving backlog refinement, work-in-progress (WIP) management, and dependency tracking.

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, reinforcing discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Partner with Product Owners, Program or Project Managers, and technology leaders to communicate delivery status, manage dependencies, and enable timely decision-making.

Ensure delivery aligns with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), governance requirements, security standards, and definition of done, with appropriate evidence readiness.

Collaborate with discipline managers to support governance, policy adherence, and enterprise standards.

Serve as a trusted escalation partner, maintaining transparency around decision points, tradeoffs, and process exceptions.

Collaborate with peers, colleagues, managers, and internal customers to resolve issues and achieve shared goals.

Exercise independent judgment while building knowledge of business functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Demonstrate end-to-end delivery ownership and accountability. Must-Have Capabilities
