Toolmaker CNC Lathe Department

Job Description

Requirements:

- First shift position.

- Overtime required when available Monday

through Friday and partial Saturdays.

- Person must be able to machine high-quality parts in a timely manner.

- Pre-employment physical

- No smoking policy during working hours

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Ability to set-up and operate CNC turning center to manufacture precision details and gage components, and hard-turn while holding a tolerance of 0004''.

2. Ability to interpret complex detail drawings.

3. Ability to select and properly use CNC lathe tooling.

4. Four (4) years experience within a job shop environment.

5. Ability to work overtime when required.

6. Ability to meet quoted times on jobs on a regular basis.

7. Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience building gage components, precision details, and doing large turning work.

2. Experience with Haas and Mazak controls.

3. Ability to load and unload larger parts using a jib crane with straps.

4. Journeyman’s card in CNC Machining or Tool & Die.
