We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to design innovative, custom automation equipment in a collaborative and hands-on environment.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with Project Managers and teammates to evaluate project requirements and generate design concepts

· Develop safe, cost-effective designs for custom automation equipment

· Produce detailed parts and assemblies for manufacturing release

· Support the machine shop, troubleshoot builds, and collaborate during assembly

· Specify and source purchased components (pneumatics, motors, drives, sensors, bearings, etc.)

Maintain accurate bill of materials and support the purchasing team

· Partner with Assembly, Electrical, and Software teams to deliver turnkey solutions

What You Bring

· B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)

· 2+ years of mechanical design experience (automation/machinery preferred)

· Strong knowledge of machining, materials, finishes, and drafting standards

· Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks strongly preferred; PDM experience helpful)

· Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical components

· Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or in a team environment
