POSITION SUMMARY:
SEMA is a Salesforce-first organization using Salesforce as a core platform to support membership, events, engagement, and internal operations. We are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Developer who can design, build, and support scalable Salesforce solutions that directly support business outcomes.
This role is responsible for configuration and deployment of Salesforce solutions, including but not limited to Nimble AMS, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud, to streamline customer management and support, event registrations, and engagement tracking. This role blends hands-on development, advanced configuration, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Salesforce Development & Configuration
Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow
Build and enhance custom objects, fields, automation, validation rules, and business logic
Balance declarative and programmatic solutions to ensure maintainability and scalability
Nimble AMS & Association Solutions
Configure and extend Nimble AMS to support membership, events, renewals, billing, and engagement workflows
Support enhancements related to member lifecycle, reporting, and operational efficiency
Integrations & Data
Implement and support AppExchange products and third-party integrations
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions
Participate in solution design discussions and technical decision-making
Document solutions, configurations, and customizations
Support deployments, testing, and post-release validation
Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and configuration experience.
Strong experience with:
- Lightning Web Components
- Flow Builder
Solid understanding of:
- Salesforce data model
- Security, roles, profiles, and permission sets
- Sharing and access control
Knowledge of SOQL / SOSL / Apex
Experience working in complex Salesforce orgs with multiple stakeholders
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with managing Nimble AMS, Fonteva or other Salesforce-based AMS platform solutions.
Background supporting associations, nonprofits, or membership-driven organizations.
Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Administrator
- Platform App Builder
- Platform Developer
Preferred bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM, preferably in a nonprofit or association setting.
