Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor automated glue machines used in the production of industrial hoses. The role involves inspecting finished products for quality and adjusting machine settings to ensure proper quality standards are met. The position is for the night shift, with regular hours from 5:30pm to 4am, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate automated glue machines to produce industrial hoses.

Monitor machine operations and gauges to ensure smooth production flow.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Adjust machine settings to maintain proper quality.

Work independently once training is complete.Essential Skills

Mechanical inclination and machine operation experience.

General production and industrial manufacturing knowledge.

Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to use a tape measure accurately.

Experience in general labor and production environments.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish/English is beneficial.

Prior hands-on work experience in production/manufacturing is ideal.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
