Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator will work with a mechanical press to attach rubber tubing to metal pipes, ranging from 2 inches to 12 inches in diameter. The operator will handle either a small, medium, or large press, and may need to use a small overhead crane or forklift for the large press. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required, but assistance and equipment are encouraged.

Responsibilities

Operate a small, medium, or large press to attach rubber tubing to metal pipes.

Use a button to operate the press and secure the tubing over the fitting.

Package and box small parts after assembly.

Operate a small overhead crane or forklift for large press operations.

Lift up to 50 lbs with the help of equipment as needed.

Essential Skills

Mechanical assembly experience.

Ability to read blueprints.

Experience with press machines and mechanical operations.

General production and assembly skills.

Proficiency with hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Entry level position with training provided.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform general labor duties throughout the day.

Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a clean machine shop environment with two buildings in Anoka and one in Blaine. The company values the well-being of employees and takes time to know each individual. Shifts include: 1st shift (medium press) from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday; and 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday to Thursday, with one unpaid 30-minute break and two 15-minute paid breaks.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
