We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who enjoys working with accuracy, structure, and customer interaction. This is a hands-on, onsite role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping financial records clean, organized, and on time.

About the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing check-only payments and serving as a key point of contact for customers with payment-related questions. Your work directly supports daily cash flow and ensures customer accounts are accurately maintained.

What You’ll Do

In this Accounts Receivable Specialist position, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Applying incoming check payments to customer accounts

Taking customer calls regarding payments and account questions

Receiving and opening mail delivered by courier

Handling checks that may apply to multiple customer accounts

Accurately applying payments to correct customer numbers

Scanning checks using a desktop scanner

Batching payments for daily deposit

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you must have:

At least 1 year of relevant accounts receivable or payment processing experience

Ability and availability to work onsite

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the SUM function

Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, process-driven tasks

Nice to Have

The following is a plus for any Accounts Receivable Specialist candidate:

Experience using Acumatica ERP software
