Overview
We are seeking an Instructional Designer/Developer to create Level 300, task-based eLearning courses for a major ERP transformation from Sage 100 to NetSuite. This role will focus on building practical "how do I do my job in NetSuite?” training for primarily office-based users across a large, multi-division organization. The ideal candidate will be skilled at translating existing documentation and SME knowledge into engaging, role-based Storyline courses that support adoption and job readiness.
Core Responsibilities
• Design and develop Level 300, task-based NetSuite training using Articulate Storyline.
• Build SCORM-compliant eLearning modules for Dayforce with an intro, demonstration, guided practice, and quiz-based structure.
• Use the NetSuite sandbox environment to record demonstrations and create simulations and hands-on learning experiences.
• Convert existing work instructions, templates, and SME walkthroughs into accurate, role-based training content.
• Develop multiple courses across business workstreams, including customer order management, field services management, and finance.
• Partner with SMEs, project managers, and LMS teams to validate content and ensure successful SCORM tracking in Dayforce.
• Perform QA on course functionality, learner flow, and tracking accuracy.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with aggressive delivery timelines.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing software or systems training.
• Strong hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline.
• Strong understanding of SCORM standards and LMS course deployment.
• Experience creating task-based system training with demonstrations, guided practice, and quizzes.
• Ability to work from process documentation, work instructions, and SME interviews.
• Strong writing, communication, and time management skills.
• Experience developing training for NetSuite or other ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics.
Preferred Skills or Experience
• Experience creating training for finance, order management, or field services functions.
• Experience supporting large, multi-site system transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in complex organizations with multiple divisions, locations, or acquired businesses.
