The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Maximo customization, BIRT and Cognos reporting, and integration, as well as a proven track record of upgrading Maximo to MAS / MAS with RHiAPO and delivering solutions that align with complex business requirements.

In this role, you will act as the technical lead for Maximo customization and MAS adoption, working closely with business analysts, integration teams, and stakeholders to ensure high-performance, scalable, and maintainable Maximo implementations.

Key Responsibilities (Rephrased)

Design, develop, and maintain BIRT and Cognos reports for KPI dashboards, analytics, and compliance reporting.

Lead or support Maximo to MAS / MAS with RHiAPO upgrades, ensuring smooth migration of data, processes, and customizations.

Integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HR, Finance, IoT, analytics) using tools such as MIF, REST, SOAP, and custom APIs.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into technical requirements and workflows.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Maximo applications, including performance tuning, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of Maximo applications across test and production environments.

Stay updated with the latest Maximo and MAS features, MAS-specific integrations, and best practices and recommend improvements.

Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and support artifacts for Maximo and MAS.

Required Skills and Qualifications

12 years of experience in IBM Maximo development and customization (including Maximo 7.x / Maximo Application Suite / MAS with RHiAPO).

Strong hands-on experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and MAS-specific features and workflows.

Proficiency in BIRT and Cognos reporting within the Maximo ecosystem (standard and ad-hoc reporting, dashboards, analytics).

Hands-on experience with Maximo integration using available tools and techniques:

Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)

REST/SOAP APIs

Custom integration patterns and scripts

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to diagnose and resolve complex Maximo performance and data-integrity issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with business stakeholders, integration teams, and other technical resources.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision, in a remote-friendly environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other enterprise asset management (EAM) systems (e.g., SAP PM, Infor EAM, Oracle EAM).

Knowledge of SQL, Java, and other relevant programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, XML, API-based development), useful for Maximo MBOs, automation, and customizations.
