Hours: 32.00 per week
Shift: Shift 2
Position Summary
Under direct supervision-and according to established strict procedures and within a limited timeframe-performs a variety of duties to maintain the Surgical unit in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition. Cleans, disinfects and services Operating Rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, lounges, ancillary and common areas in Surgery. May perform any or all duties of Environmental Technician A, B, or Project person.
Minimum Qualifications
Six months experience in Environmental Services Department preferred.
Must be able to understand and respond to basic verbal and written English language instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent required within two years of hire.
Must understand and comply with pertinent Hospital infection control policies and procedures as well as the special cleaning needs of Surgery.
