Job Description
Perform and review PJM interconnection studies:
Feasibility Studies
System Impact Studies (SIS)
Facilities Studies
Execute power system modeling using:
PSSE
PSLF
PowerWorld
Analyze system impacts including:
Thermal loading
Voltage performance
Short circuit & fault duty
Stability (dynamic/transient)
Support projects through the PJM queue process (queue reform experience is a plus)
Collaborate with utilities, developers, and ISO stakeholders
Review:
One-lines
Protection schemes
Substation configurations
Recommend system upgrades and mitigation solutions
Support renewable + large load interconnections (100MW-1GW+)

The Successful Applicant
A successful Interconnection Engineer - Transmission & Distribution should have:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
3-8+ years in power systems / interconnection / transmission planning
Hands-on experience with PSSE, PSLF, or PowerWorld
Strong understanding of transmission systems (69kV-500kV)
Experience working in or with PJM interconnection processes
