Controls Engineer

Incredible Direct Hire opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer with this global manufacturing innovator in Columbus!

The Controls Engineer will design custom machine automation systems and solutions. Innovative projects across a wide variety of industries with global reach!

Controls Engineers will design and develop electrical and pneumatic schematics and work directly with customer and project teams for project requirements. You will integrate software and hardware components (think robots, motion controllers, sensors, vision systems and similar.) and work with other inhouse engineers and customers to design and build complete automations systems.

This position may require international travel - less than 10%. Pay range will start in the $105-$130/yr range + paid OT, travel, shift differentials and strong benefits. One-site role in Polaris area of Columbus. Relocation assistance may be available.

To be qualified for this role, the Controls Engineer will have:

-3+ yrs Controls Design Engineering experience

-PLC and/or Robotics focus

-Total Engineering experience to include design, development, programming, testing and commissioning of industrial automation systems, custom machinery and/or industrial equipment is a plus
