Belstra Milling Co., a family-owned agricultural business in DeMotte, IN, is seeking a part-time Corn Receiving Associate to join our team. Belstra thrives on making quality feed for livestock producers of all size. addition, this position must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

Operate the corn dump from 8am - 3pm on Monday/Tuesday, occasionally until 4pm

Scale, sample and unload inbound trucks

Corn mycotoxin testing

Corn quality testing

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Communicate with farmers and company employees

Open and close the corn dump

Assist in other areas around the mill as needed

Requirements

Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):

Utilize corn receiving program

Familiarity in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Professional telephone etiquette

Active listening abilities

Exceptional time management skills and self motivation

Attention to detail

Clear communication skills

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

Prior experience in agriculture or commodities a plus

Employees in this role are required to complete and maintain the following safety trainings, as applicable:

General New Hire Safety Training

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Requirements

$17.00 - $19.00
