Custodian

The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants for a Custodian (2nd Shift; 2:00pm - 10:30pm) at Pickerington High School Central.

This is a 12 month position.

QUALIFICATIONS: * Applicant must possess a high school diploma or a GED equivalent * Previous custodial work experience preferred * Ability to maintain care of buildings, grounds and equipment * Must have experience with operating heating and ventilating equipment * Ability to lift, push, pull or carry 80 pounds * Ability to perform manual labor for long periods of time * Knowledge and/or ability to learn technical building systems * Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely both orally and in writing * Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned * Ability to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, clean, positive and comfortable environment * Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed * Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic * Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations If interested in these positions, complete the online application.
