Treasury Associate

Job Description

Client Overview:

Vernovis partnering with a well-established real estate and property management organization seeking a Treasury Associate to support daily cash management, banking operations, and payment processing functions. This role offers strong exposure to treasury operations and process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies

Monitor bank account balances and identify excess funds available for investment, coordinating with leadership as needed

Track daily bank activity — including ACH credits and wire receipts — and ensure all items are posted accurately to the general ledger

Review, allocate, and post bank service charges

Administer online banking platforms, including user access management, entitlements, and security settings

Assist with the setup and documentation of new bank accounts, including coordination with banking partners

Process daily electronic payments including wires, ACH transactions, and Real-Time Payments (RTP)

Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency in payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting workflows

Support treasury-related projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned

Perform other related duties as needed

What Experience You'll Have:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or banking operations preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with general ledger or ERP systems

Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion

What Experience is Nice to Have:

Experience with MRI Software and/or Entrata

Experience with online banking platforms and electronic payment processing (ACH, wires, RTP)

Comfort using AI and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
