MaxCare Health & Residential Services is seeking a passionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.
MaxCare Health & Residential Services has six residential group homes offering nursing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs.

Shifts available:
Full-time
3:00pm - 11:00pm - $3,000 sign-on bonus
11:00pm - 7:00am - $3,000 sign-on bonus
Part-time
3:00pm - 11:00pm
11:00pm - 7:00am
Basic Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care for individuals with intellectual disabilities
Provide basic patient care and treatment in collaboration with the Direct Support Professional /CNA
Educate and update patients on medical treatments
Daily documentation of services provided and progress towards goals
Collaborate with an RN to administer prescribed medications and coordinate services as applicable

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Virginia
Current CPR certification preferred
Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
Ability to build rapport with patients, families, state officials, and peers
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
