Locum - Physician - Neurologist Westerville OH

Facility is looking for a locum Neurologist available 1 week per month, for a 7 day stretch.

Hospital - based coverage

type: Daily, Hourly

Practice is 100% Adult, Inpatient

Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 8-12

Physician will provide preventative and responsive ongoing care as well as specialized services.

Nightly Stroke calls are covered by ED staff.

Will not be required to order OP testing and if needed, will refer to one of the neuro sites.

Documentation system: EPIC

Will be required to dictate per hospital policy.

Will be required to turn in charges within 48 hours.

Patient population is 100% adult. Average caseload per day is 4-6 new, 5-10 follow up, consults 5-20 patients on any weekend, census 3-15 inpatient visits.

Requirement description :

OH license & CSR at time of submission -Required

Board Certified - Required

Clean background (and minimal malpractice - Required

NIH Stroke Scale experience (Primary Stroke Centers) - Highly Preferred

Must be able to read EEG and formerly document - Required

Must be able to read EMG and LP - Required

Covid Vaccine - Required at time of name clear
