Multi Machine Operator (CNC)
Pay: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift
Location: Downers Grove, IL
We are seeking a skilled Multi Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift production team. This role is ideal for experienced CNC operators who are comfortable performing full machine setups, working from blueprints, and maintaining tight quality standards in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Set up and operate CNC production machinery and related equipment
Perform full machine setups (approximately 3 setups per shift)
Read and interpret blueprints and job orders to meet product dimensions and tolerances
Select, install, and secure tooling in holders such as chucks, collets, and tool posts
Position and secure workpieces using fixtures, machine tables, chucks, or centers
Set and adjust feeds, speeds, and depths of cut as required
Change fixtures, tooling, and tool holders as jobs require
Load and unload parts safely and efficiently
Replace dull or broken tooling to maintain quality and productivity
Monitor machine operation and verify parts meet specifications
Measure, inspect, and record part dimensions using precision measuring tools
Maintain quality standards and report any defects or process issues to supervision
Manage coolant flow and replenish coolant reservoirs as neededWhat We’re Looking For (Required)
2+ years of CNC Operator experience
Strong ability to perform full CNC setups independently
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
Solid mechanical skills
Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
Comfortable working 2nd shiftAdditional Skills That Help
General CNC machining experience
Tape measure proficiency
Experience with metal finishing, grinding, sanding, or assembly
Familiarity with sheet metal work or metal fabrication
Saw operation experience

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
