Job Description
Join a longstanding distributor as an Automotive Technician, bringing your mechanical expertise from the automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance industry to a company with a rich history dating back to 1848.
Responsibilities
Assemble and install equipment such as service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items.
Read work instructions and installation materials to properly assemble equipment.
Test performance before delivering units to a final audit.
Essential Skills
Experience in mechanical repair.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Knowledge of electrical wiring, welding, and fabrication.
Skills in automotive repair, plumbing, and carpentry.
Understanding of chassis systems and hydraulics.

Work Environment
Work from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 4 PM, in a dynamic environment handling all brand new vehicles. Utilize your skills in a well-equipped facility with a focus on quality and precision.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
