Job Description*:

• Key Responsibilities:

1. S/4HANA Data Migration Execution

• Develop ETL jobs for master data and transactional data using SAP BODS.

• Work with SAP Migration Cockpit (direct transfer, file, staging), IDOC, BAPI, LSMW.

• Execute data extraction from legacy systems (ECC or non-SAP) and loading into S/4HANA using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and migration templates.

2. ETL Design, Development & Optimization

• Design and develop complex Data Flows, Workflows, and Job orchestration.

• Implement delta loads, data quality rules, data profiling, and cleansing logic.

• Optimize BODS jobs for performance, memory, and runtime SLAs.

• Build reusable transformations and custom functions for migration pipelines.

3. Data Mapping & Validation

• Create detailed Field mapping document(FMD) for S/4HANA data objects.

• Align mapping rules with functional consultants/Business for FICO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, HR, etc.

• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and sign off with business teams.

• Ensure compliance with S/4HANA data model changes (BP, Universal Journal, MATDOC, etc.).

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with SAP functional consultants, BASIS, HANA DB teams, and business users.

• Participate in mock migrations, UAT, and hypercare.

• Communicate risks, dependencies, and migration timelines to project managers.

5. Data Quality, Governance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements.

• Prepare technical design documents, migration strategies, test scripts, and runbooks.
