Responsibilities:
· Providing/planning & coordinating project related initiatives to ensure completion of critical path items in conjunction with contractual scope of work and budgetary guidelines.
· Conduct regular meetings with subs/vendors to ensure clarification and implementation of all project related communications and correspondences.
· Collaborate with Project Management team to track schedule and subcontractor performance benchmarks with the goal of hitting key milestone dates.
· Documentation and reporting to stakeholders/client project progress and daily/weekly site action items.
· Provide overall support of the project and work as a liaison between office administrative team and field team to provide cohesiveness of project related deliverables.
· Conduct regular field observations of all subcontractors mobilized to verify reasonable and customary measures are being taken to adhere to plans & specifications issued.
· Partner with QC/Safety Manager and Project Management team regarding company safety initiatives as they apply to active jobsites.
· Utilization of project management software (Procore) in all aspects of reporting, logging, documenting and reviewing active job file to verify accuracy.
· Actively engage and communicate with subcontractor/vendor Project Management teams regarding schedule and project deliverables such as material deliveries, workmanship, manpower, equipment, safety, RFI’s, and submittals.
· Order and track project general conditions such as temporary facilities, trailers, rental equipment and dumpsters in accordance to project budgetary requirements.
· Collaborate with Project Superintendent to review all daily activities with a keen focus on enhancing project outcomes.
Key Skills/Requirements:
· Organizational management and problem solving skills
· Strong time management and analytical skills
· Excellent communication (written/email, telephone)
· Commercial construction management background
· Degree in engineering, construction mgmt., business a plus(or equivalent experience)
· Procore experience a major plus
· Ability to read and comprehend Architectural, MEP, and Civil plans
· Familiarity with construction contracts and industry terms and conditions
· Ability to scope check proposals, and comprehension of subcontracts
· General understanding of building materials, equipment as well as means and methods across trades
ProCore experience.
Proficient with MS Office Word, MS Excel and MS Project.
Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding organizational skills.
1-3+ years Out of the ground, Fit Out, Renovation, QSR, Dry Storage/Warehouse, Tilt Up Experience all a plus
