Netherlands Dairy Limited is looking for Agro Farm Manager/ Incharge (Cattle/Buffalo)

Job Description / Responsibility

Oversee the overall operations of the integrated farm, including livestock cattle/buffalo, to ensure smooth and efficient farm management.

Supervise the care, feeding, breeding, and health management of cattle and buffalo to ensure optimal productivity and animal welfare.

Develop and implement production plans to maximize farm output and efficiency across livestock.

Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including feed usage, medicine administration, production data, mortality rates, and operational expenses.

Supervise farm workers, assign tasks, and provide training to ensure proper farm practices and productivity.

Ensure proper biosecurity measures and hygiene standards to prevent diseases and maintain a healthy farm environment.

Manage farm inventory, including feed, medicines, equipment, and other necessary supplies.

Prepare regular reports on farm operations and performance, and coordinate with management for strategic planning and improvements.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture

Master of Science (MSc)

BSc/MSc in Agriculture / Agronomy/Horticulture

Bachelor degree in Animal Husbandry, Poultry Science, DVM, or a related field is highly preferred

Skills Required: Animal Breeding, Poultry Farm Management, Breeder Farm Management

Experience Requirements

7 to 10 year(s)

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Poultry, Farming

Additional Requirements

Strong knowledge of farm operations, animal health, and hatchery management.

Ability to maintain proper documentation and operational records.

Good leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work in rural or farm-based environments.
